about

Recorded at Etching Tin Studios in late 2016 for the Nancy Kells helmed "Friends For Equality" compilation. This track was recorded in opposition to the new Trump presidency that we were all coming to terms with at the time. The title was a nod to the early 80's BCT (Borderless Countries Tapes) compilation called "First Strike." The punk rock theme fit what we were trying to accomplish with the song if not in instrumentation but in spirit and approach. It was also intended to mean our "first strike" out of many I am sure against this fascist regime.
